MAN OF GOD PART 4

Could this be a coincidence? Was she sent to monitor me? What will Dr Gbudu say when he finds out I am the one about to marry his daughter? Lots of thought roamed my mind. I held on to myself but I knew one thing for sure, I’m not giving up on her so easily. The welcome was wonderful when they saw her. This day seems to be a public holiday for the Dr. There were no cars in attendance just domestic staff with some family member. Everybody was waiting patiently to see me. I walked towards them also to greet my prospective in laws and Dr Gbudu in all knowledge of me greeted me like a stranger. At this point I knew we were not supposed to know ourselves. I became an alien to him also. The dinner was set but before we were called to join in the banquet; I had a one on one with Dr Gbudu. He told me if I remembered the oath we swore that day and I answered yes………. My daughter mustn’t know you’ve been coming here before. After today we will talk better.

The food was so sweet and everyone was happy I came. The question raised include which university I graduated from, what led me into the ministry, how well am I winning souls for the kingdom of Christ, how are my parent and where are they? Many more and the answers were wonderfully delivered. When the visit was over and we were leaving; I dipped my hand inside my pocket and delivered the envelope to mummy. When we got to my house, mummy called Paula and with the way she jumped on me after the call……. I knew the dollars made the difference.

Wedding preparations has started and a committee has been set up inside the church to cater for that. I wasn’t going to spend a dime for the wedding. Church was going to do everything. Special offering on all fellowship days and special prayers for this day. In all truthfulness I was getting closer to God. My life style has changed. I can’t remember the last time I smoked. A little wine is good for the heart thus I still keep that up late at night. The most amazing one was the issue of women. Since I became a pastor I have only had sex with 3 girls. Two from the church and one from the world before.
My relationship with God was getting serious. I could now fast till 3pm and pray for an hour. But when things are not working the way I want I activate the oil.

So one afternoon; while serving siesta, I got into a dream that was scary and revealing. God told me how well he loved me. God told he was shocked that man can use all means to make money when all man has to do was to ask HIM. God told me all the people around me, that I feel was really His people are hypocrites like me. God told me he was going to expose every one of them to me. Lastly God told me Sister Paula is a tool from Dr Gbudu.

I woke up sweating……… I didn’t believe what I just heard. Was it just a dream or it was God speaking with me really? What is just my imagination? Every word was still clear to me? I didn’t know what to do again. Then I knelt down to pray and sincerely in over two years that was the first genuine prayer I was making. After prayers I picked up my phone and called Sister Paula, she told me she came to attend to one of the sisters in church that wasn’t feeling too good. I drove to Dr Gbudu’s house to tell him my experience if he had an explanation to it. When I got to the gate someone was driving out thus there was no need to press my horn again. The gatemen and security already see me as a member of the house thus I had a smooth entrance. While passing through the side of the building I heard Paula’s voice complaining to his so called father

Paula: sir no no no. I have done my own side of the deal. I have planted everything where you said I should plant it. What else. I don’t want to be having sex with you again.
Dr Gbudu: until his church loses the last member; you are still my slave.
Paula: sir please…. Set me free. I’m tired of this kind of life.

Hearing these things fear came into me. I rushed back to my car and drove back to my house. I started packing my things for another house and that we will be changing where we are holding our service. While packing I had a call…… hello pastor and I replied hello God bless you. Pastor I need to see you immediately. I have a message for you from God. After he finished introducing himself, I knew he was a real pastor. I was now scared to know who was real and fake. In thirty minutes he was in my house. He told me to kneel down for prayers and when he was done praying I had a rebirth. We are going to see my senior pastor he said which I agreed. I called my driver and off we went. When we got to the office, I saw pastors I haven’t seen before. Great men of God with TV program and international crusades. I jumped all protocols because I was following another man of god. When I finished narrating this story of mine that you have just read to the general overseer; he fell back on his chair and signalled that someone should open the door and surprisingly who I saw was Dr Gbudu and the words are …… “So you think you can run”.

MAN OF GOD PART 3

It took over three hours before it got to our turn. When we were finally ushered in I discovered the glamour I once assumed. It was a big library kind of, with plenty of book and religious relics. The place had a different smell from many incenses and olive oil. We were told to sit and the supposed superintendent of these project we have come for started the introduction. It was at this point I knew he was into helping pastors grow their church.

Dr Gbudu as he introduced himself, looked at me and quoted 11 bible scriptures on prosperity. He started from Psalm 127: 2 then 3 John 1: 2 to Philippians 4: 19. He then went to 2 Cor 9:8, Psalm 1: 3…………….and the last was Luke 6 : 38.

I thought it was just charms and concoctions that will be given; this man started preaching to me. He told me how well God loved his children and told me not to ever feel bad on what I am doing. After a while he took me into the world of elementals. A difficult one to explain on this platform. It was my third hour with him that he started his miracles. Like we all believe he doesn’t plant people to fall but people fall under a spell they are not aware of. He thought me the art of using music to raise their spirit before allowing the mind to take charge. He taught me how to put guilt in their mind mixed with fear so that my presence will be the only solace they know. He told me how to create problems for them and then proffer solutions. He taught me the use of psalms to control spirits and lastly the spirit of discernment. I know what people are going through.

When we were done with him I was already tired. I dropped the money I had with me and he told me to kneel for final blessing. As he laid his hands on me I felt something enter inside of me. He gave me a bowl of soap and a jar of oil. Anytime I need money……. I should put a little on my tongue before approaching the people.
NB …. Man of god; project yourself as one.

Thank you and I was gone. Ministry is just about to start. People will know there is healing in this world. My first call was a revival. I needed to gather some money to move the ministry forward. Thus I coined the first into the most vulnerable set of humans. Women…… not just women but unmarried women. The title of the revival was “CALLING FORTH YOUR HUSBAND”. The crowd was mammoth and it was at this moment I knew spirit lives around us. Many people that came for the revival were spirit. They thought I was real. Some were there to make people sleep. Others to distract and some to take the grace after you’ve received it. But as for me there was zero anointing. If you meet a man after I prayed for you, it was a fluke. After the three days revival I was 2.1 million naira rich.

I went back to my former neighbourhood to pay off my debts and pray for so many. People didn’t understand me any longer. How and when was I called? I dashed out money to the poor and promised to bring pipe borne water to the area. People worshiped me like I was a god. All I spent there was 200 thousand naira. The church was now growing. We have close to a hundred members who are dedicated.

The next thing I needed to learn were rhymes in motivational speaking. Leadership books filled my new shelf with books on the HOLY SPIRIT but I dare not read that one. I had sentences like; your disposition will affect your opposition. Statements like attitude is a form of gratitude. Whenever I speak like that in church; members stand up to clap and I wonder if only they knew what I do behind closed door.

It was my ninth month in the ministry and I needed a good place to stay that I can call my own. Church was growing in size and wealth but I wanted my own money thus the second crusade came out titled “the axe head shall float again”….. I did some miracles as they reported and for this sake, my name became the trending name in the town. Church grew to 800 members and then the name M.O.G started.

Now I needed a wife. I don’t know how pastors used to toast women. Will you say the Holy Spirit told you or you’ve been looking at her for some time now? Some were coming in the name of temptation but I just look at them and laugh (if only they knew). I don’t need to be tempted, I was a devourer before. But for the sake of the new profession I was different. One day during workers meeting, Sister Paula sang wonderfully that she fell under the anointing. Her skirt were raised a little and from the yellowness of the laps ………… two days after I approached her after a little drop of oil in my mouth and as the words hit her, she happily said yes.

Pastors don’t waste time at all. We move as fast as possible. Sister Paula is an orphan. She has lost her parents since she was 7years old. She lived with foster parents thus we needed to go visit them and make our intentions known. It was at the gate of the house that I discovered that her foster dad was the same Dr Gbudu ,my spiritual godfather.................... and the questions began.

MAN OF GOD PART 2

From that moment I saw myself as a full time member of this great church. The building wasn’t the church, the people were. I was supposed to be hungry but my hunger has been overcome by the inspiration Jeffery introduced me into. The next agenda on the programme for the day was testimonies. It was a reflection of what God was doing on earth. No one of them stays in a slum. It was then I discovered that anointing revolves around the rich more than the poor. It seems the Spirit lives with the successful more than we the poor but …….. How come I was located?

None talked about hunger or house rent that was less than 1.5million naira. The testimonies ranged from international jobs to jobs with salaries higher than 1 million naira a month. Some was on contract worth 200 million and a little about children. After the testimony, special numbers were presented in angelic voices until someone entered and everybody had to stand up.

Five grown up men in black suits and shades like the CIA were in front of him. He walked majestically as he was dragging the agbada from one hand to the other. He slowly went down on his knees as he got to his seat. He was there for the next five minutes. As he approached the stage, I knew he was the pastor. He looked quite young and fresh. He was obviously a very wealthy man’s son. I looked at him and wondered how he made being a good Christian with all the money the father had.

We sand some songs as we were told to sit down. I sat slowly next to my new neighbour and adjusted not to stain her beautiful skin. Then the pastor started preaching. Three things I picked from his sermon were: last month we made just a little above 400 million. The second was I just paid for our private jet. I laughed within when he called the private jet “our”….. Like they can really use it. Lastly, we are starting up our university. It must be world class. The remaining part of the sermon wasn’t interesting. All I needed from this point was practice. If serving God could produce all of these …….. I must serve the LORD.

When service ended, Jeffery took me to where pastor was. I narrated my story and he said I should come to his office two days later. I looked at him as he stared back and I started crying. I told him I don’t even have transport fare back home; it was at this moment he signalled at someone and he said I should follow her. Her name is Sister Jane. She is also very beautiful but not like my neighbour. We walked through a corridor at the back of the altar and when she got to an office, she told me to wait outside. The wait was getting too long before she came outside and handed me an envelope with Cds, a bible, juice, cake and a hundred thousand naira. I walked back into the church; with a prostrate I gave the pastor the best thanks in the world.

When I walked out that day something came to my mind. I looked back at that church and told myself something……. With this new found knowledge I can never be poor again.

The room had a desktop with internet facility. It was just 7000 naira. I paid for it and went straight to google. I typed the phrase in and it gave me 27,234,345 results. I laughed hysterically. It means there are different ways I can put my anointing into place. The next seven days saw me moving from one church to another, measuring the parameters with which I was going to attack the world. I started studying the bible and followed on the process of how to get money from your congregation.

It was the sixth day and the greatest search of all produced a result. How to raise followers in a church. It was at this point that I fell asleep. When I woke up it was mid-day. I called the reception and asked to see the manager in my room.  When he came in I greeted him in the way of the lord and I told him I needed to be using their hall for fellowship on Sundays. I went further that the lord had put in my mind that the blessing for this town, this season is starting from this point. He hesitated before telling me that another church uses this place. But the problem is the church is owing at the moment and the members are not comfortable with the way the pastor is managing the finances. I told him convincingly to tell the church to go and in two weeks I had a space called the church but the next thing was the congregation.

Bro Pius was so instrumental in the starting up. He bought my suits. He arranged for me to have a permanent room in the hotel. Then one day I met a brother. He just walked up to me and said he wanted to take me somewhere. I asked where. Where the powers are gotten. If you have to be a good man of God; you need to show them powers …….. I thought of it for like three days then the journey began. It wasn’t that much a distance. Just the outskirt of the city. But the house is a mansion and rich men were all in waiting. We were told to wait to confirm our invitation and while waiting I was surprised who I saw. The pastor at Jeffery’s church. Then I knew I was at the right place ……
