PATIENCE IS RUNNING OUT 2

Extreme poverty in the midst of affluence would always produce conflict. An evaluative analysis has shown that the words of Karl Marx of old still persist today in our midst. He said there is a constant conflict between the bourgeoisie and proletariat i.e. the haves and the have-nots i.e. the rich and the poor. Sounded like a fallacious statement to some then but for those who accepted it, they would be sure of their thoughts right now on how far they can conceive ideas not yet reached and these things are evident to us living now.
SUBSIDY

We everyday see the minorities disagreeing over issues they think the majorities has cheated them with. Suburbs, trying to take over cities, tenants conflicting with landlords, the rich being kidnapped, corrupt individuals embezzling on constant basis, militants fighting against oppression and terrorist killing in the name of ........ e.t.c. These are just the way they can show their pains. Everyone wants to be better than the next person, so whichever way it comes they don’t care once I can show off to my neighbor I’m better off.
EXPRESS ROAD

The poor conflicting with the rich is not much of a problem to me like the rich in all aspects of life suppressing the poor not to rise? In Nigeria, a country richly blessed with abundance of oil, richness in agriculture, good weather condition and good brains e.t.c. one would now ask why would God give us all these resources and   also give us bad leaders. Our government i.e. the rich in our society have tried in their possible best to make life unbearable for the poor and here they come. Let us compare the following living conditions and we would see the irregularities in the things that are supposed to be regular.
THE STATE OF OUR NATION
Imagine some don’t have clean water to drink while some use bore hole water to wash their cars, while some don’t have transport fare some roll in convoy, while some can’t find a place to lay their heads others build bungalows for dogs, while some are looking for food to eat we most organize buffet and at the end wasting these foods, while some don’t have clothes to wear others fill their wardrobes with what they will never wear. In all these aspects of life we might at one time or the other found ourselves wanting or otherwise. Nigeria is the only country in the world that is fighting unemployment by extorting the unemployed to pay the little they are going to employ. A country where 7 billion naira is spent to discuss what the causes of our problems are. How much will it cost to solve them?
CANT WE ACHIEVE THIS?

The affluent Nigerians have made life unbearable for the poor. They are not aware of the poor around them like the rich man and Lazarus in the bible. Look around you for a moment and see how many people are suffering or rather don’t have what you have in excess, look at how many people are homeless, look at how many people are hungry and thirsty, look at how many people are naked, how many young kids are unable to afford education. How many are dropping out of school because of the state of our education. How many half baked graduates we produce every year (as if they baked themselves) sincerely the leaders of this country are running out of our patience and it would be worse for them than us. We will do whatever possible to get the bellow of success blow again in Nigeria. Enough of the failures

I call on the generous Nigerian youth; who has persevered in pains orchestrated by our failed leaders, who have been a victim of one of the several killings caused by the insecurity of our leaders, who have been denied a place of employment due to the fact that the rich owns the slot, who has queued endlessly at fuel stations based on the frivolity of our leaders, whose houses have been burnt, whose brothers and sisters have been killed while studying to help in building a better tomorrow,  Let us all build a land of new promise, let our street shout from the laughter of the people. Let wailing be a thing of the past, let the doors of education be open to the willing, let’s grant ourselves the ability to live together without fear. Our great texture of ethnic, religious and political diversity should be a blessing not a curse. We are a great raw material not war material. Let us quench the fire of fanaticism and accept the brotherliness that lies in this God built nation of ours.

and to our leaders .......................................................... PATIENCE IS RUNNING OUT!!!

PATIENCE IS RUNNING OUT

It is no longer news that Nigeria is at war against itself. Every day we try to proffer solutions to the existing characters in the play written by some script writers on the corridors of power. The movie called Nigeria is a tragedy; which at the end all will perish if the script won’t change. The present young generation must be allowed to pattern their future in all political arenas and it's time these fathers understand it's our turn.We are blessed with all forms of RAW materials but in turn we’ve developed them to WAR materials.

The Nigerian youth of today is a product of the failure of the generation ahead of us. We were indoctrinated into their selfish life of greed, corruption, composed inequality, godfatherism, ethnicity, brain drain, social injustice, unemployment, militancy and terrorism, lack of patriotism and marginalization. The results of all these have built a weakened youth in Nigeria who forgives without reasons called foolishness, who collects N500 to disrupt an election which would have bettered his life, who hates a fellow Nigerian because he is of another ethnic group, who understands scarcity of fuel and sees queues in our filing stations as normal, who applauds a governor for spending money he was given to spend, who claps for politicians who drill boreholes in their villages without providing a tap, who gather at political rallies with no manifestos delivered, who is told their money and future is missing in the hands of technocratic politicians and all we do is sit down and look, who sees the terrorist organization as the only option and attends to it.

But this must stop else ……… just yesterday the nation suffered a great blow, One that would affect the development of this nation extremely. Once again, the youths of this country are forced to loose hope in their mother land. The National Immigration Service organized a sacrificial test for over 500,000 youths in Nigeria. The test that demanded from the unemployed and suffering Nigerian youth the sum of N1000 as money for organizing it. A written test conducted in a stadium is a reflection of how the organizers think. The venues were filled to brim and unfortunately the zealous Nigerian youths who are ready to sacrifice themselves for the growth and development were sacrificed at the altars of the mistakes of these stupid politicians and organizers. I wish the son of Abba Moro was one of those that died and wonder if that irritating address he gave is what the families of the deceased should take as a comfort to the loss of their children.

Everyday lives are lost and soon we might be forced to demand our rights back from the state. We are tired of the state of decadence and every attempt to believe that something good can still come out of this warring nation, the defenseless youth is attacked again. The test which went wrong on Saturday the 13th of march 2014 have left some men widowers, some children motherless, some parents childless and pains spread to friends and well wishers. To colleagues they can’t believe that would be the last time they would see Mrs Juliet Akinlabi and when asked who killed them; the only answer is GOVERNMENT.

How long shall we continue to be sacrificed on this altar of failure?  Our patience is running out and we shall soon retaliate to save our future. The means of these retaliation shall be decided by the affected youths and when this happens……………………

The rich are safe but the poor are dying. In Benue state the governor was attacked but he escaped with the help of security personnel. In Adamawa state governor's attack, security rescued the situation as he also escaped but Fulani herdsmen have killed over eighty people in Benue. Same state securities rescued Gov Suswam. Boko haram have killed dozens in Adamawa. Same state Gov Nyako was rescued. Same securities that rescue the rich left the school dormitory in Yobe and this led to the death of secondary school students. Those kids were defenseless, they are the supposed great leaders of our nation wiped off by the negligence of some people.

i know a change is imminent and when it starts, there won’t be a beagle blown. All affected would bounce on those that supposedly affected them and anomie would be the case. Our patience is running out; those in power…….. BEWARE.
