JUST THINKING

It is no longer story that the way of life in Africa is about to change for a while or maybe forever.  The handshakes and the hugs are to be replaced with intentions rather than reality. If this was in the olden days, the chief priest would have been summoned and demands would have been made on him on how it all started and which gods is angry that has befallen us with this gruesome ailment.  This whole episode can’t be undergone now based on civilization and the fact that the wickedness that has befallen us comes out from the wickedness of men is what this is all about.

A brother once posted on facebook (Sheik ÐëXxÿ Alãðésuru): It’s from playing cards that I learnt the heart of men is wicked.... Everything was going on smoothly until I announced 'last card' & next thing I heard was 'pick 3' up to 5times. For those that understand you’ll see the wickedness.

Another friend of mine said it was his mathematics teacher that showed him what wickedness was in high places:

With these examples you’ll be amazed men could be this wicked; but the conspiracy wickedness we’re looking at is the Ebola wickedness.

Ebola: a virus named after a river in West Africa. The river originated a virus that has started killing Africans is a fuss we need to stop. From the origination to the spread and the imminent discovery of the control measure in America after two of their doctors contacted it shows wickedness in high places.
 ORIGIN
Either in the rivers of Congo or the expensive laboratories in the west; Ebola was created. It found itself in the veins and fluids of the apes and fruit bats. These animals without knowledge of how wicked the hearts of men were, hosted the virus that till today. A little know if it was manmade or otherwise.
 SPREAD
With the advent of this deadly virus in the 1970s little was known after a while. All that contacted the virus died and the news of Ebola went into extinction. Suddenly there was a rise in the name Ebola again in the voices of the medical personnel. The spread was building and the areas that had the infection were cordoned but along the line there was a spread.
PATRICK SAWYER
These revelations calls for attention on how the spread of Ebola really relates with the epidemic West Africa is experiencing at the moment. Nigeria suffered its first known patient in the name of sawyer Patrick

Barely 24 hours before his death, Patrick Sawyer had a rather strange – and in the words of medical and diplomatic sources here, “Indiscipline” encounter with nurses and health workers at First Consultants Hospital in Obalende, Ikoyi.

Looking to get to the bottom of Sawyer’s strange ailment hospital officials say, he was tested for both malaria and HIV AIDS. However, when both tests came back negative, he was then asked whether he had made contact with any person with the Ebola Virus, to which Sawyer denied. Sawyer’s sister, Princess had died of the deadly virus on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Catholic Hospital in Monrovia. On Friday, July 25, 2014, 18 days later, Sawyer died in Lagos.

Authorities at the First Consultants Hospital in Obalende decided that despite Sawyer’s denial, they would test him for Ebola, due to the fact that he had just arrived from Liberia, where there has been an outbreak of the disease with more than 100 deaths.

Upon being told he had Ebola, Mr. Sawyer went into a rage, denying and objecting to the opinion of the medical experts. “He was so adamant and difficult that he took the tubes from his body and took off his pants and urinated on the health workers, forcing them to flee.”

Sawyer exhibited similar indiscipline behavior during his sister’s stay at the Catholic Hospital in Monrovia where she was taken because he noticed she was bleeding profusely and was later found to be a victim of Ebola. Sawyer was seen with blood on his clothing after his sister’s death and had earlier demanded that he be placed in a private room. President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf cited indiscipline and disrespect as a key reason why Sawyer contracted the Ebola virus. She said his failure to heed medical advice put the lives of other residents across the nation’s border at risk.

First Consultants would later report that it resisted immense pressure to let out Sawyer from its hospital against the insistence from some higher-ups and conference organizers that he had a key role to play at the ECOWAS convention in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.

The First Consultants statement noted that it was able to obtain confirmation of Ebola virus disease, (Zaire strain) after working with the state, federal and international agencies. Sawyer was pronounced dead at 6:50 AM Nigeria time, on July 25 and all agencies were properly notified.

Once the case was officially confirmed, the hospital was temporarily shut down and in-house patients immediately evacuated. Sawyer’s body was subsequently cremated under W.H.O guidelines and witnessed by all appropriate agencies, according to the hospital statement. “In keeping with W.H.O guidelines, the hospital is shut down briefly as full decontamination exercise is currently in progress. The re-opening of the hospital will also be in accordance with its guidelines”, the hospital said.

In total, Sawyer reportedly came in direct contact with 59 persons, 44 of whom were at the hospital he was taken to when he fell ill, according to the Lagos State government.
His ashes have been returned to Liberia.
Lots of questions come to my mind as you are also thinking right now…..
 TREATMENT
The deadliest and most pronounced virus trending in the world at the moment is the Ebola virus. It got so popular that the price of bitter kola went up in Nigeria when we heard that bitter kola helps build immunity against it. A proposition that came from a renowned pharmacologist; but how true that is, only science can tell.

Over a hundred deaths have been recorded in Liberia and Congo has a little more than that. Guinea wasn’t left out of this plague that has become of West Africa and it’s amazing that suppression only came when two Americans were infected. I remember the words of George Orwell in animal farm… “All animals are equal but some are more equal than others”. Maybe they were. ZMAPP a new means of “guaranteed life” now hangs in the hands of the Americans and in other words it means the survival of West Africa hangs in the hands of America.

A popular saying in Nigeria: the white man that made pencil also made eraser…… just thinking.
