A GOOD ADVICE

7C907F7B UGWA

I wonder how good this world would have been if gratitude is given in its best. Men go out of their way to do great things for others but what they get in return is betrayal sometimes and other times ingratitude. This was also the case of Ugwa, Ogoye and Stella. Ogoye and Ugwa had been very good friends since childhood. Through primary and secondary school they’ve been best of friends. An introduction was made at the tail end of secondary school of a girl called Stella. Stella was really a friend. They all stayed all through university and none between Ogoye and Ugwa made any approach towards Stella. But there is a problem attached to this in their minds. They both love Stella and only one of them must make it known to her. They are even more scared of losing the relationship they have built with the exposure of love and affection for a friend.

One lovely evening, Ogoye and Ugwa called themselves aside and started to weigh who loved Stella more out of the two of them. From their analysis, they love her equally thus the next point is to know who Stella really loves. They agreed they would call Stella at different times and tell her about the other person to know what she feels about them.

It was Ogoye that went first and in ten minutes it was obvious Stella loved Ugwa more than him. She went ahead and told Ogoye how well she fantasizes about herself and Ugwa. She said Ugwa is a perfect description of what a man to settle down with is. All she had ever wanted in a man is Ugwa. She continued with the praises to be point she discovered Ogoye was getting jealous.

When Ugwa approached Stella with the same question, she told Ugwa the same thing she told Ogoye. Ugwa felt very good but he couldn’t show it. He knows these whole arrangement is about to scatter the relationship they’ve been keeping a while now. He decided he was not going to tell Ogoye the truth.
So the two guys met to report what the result of the meetings with Stella brought. Ugwa started by saying to Ogoye that firstly she said she loves the two of us but from her explanation she loves you more. She said you have been on her mind and she just doesn't know how to tell you. She said she doesn't want to spoil the relationship between you and I; thus she didn’t tell you herself ever since. With these words Ogoye was surprised and felt it could be a set up.

7C907FB PLS ADVICE HIM
When Ogoye was reporting he skipped the whole good part of Ugwa in the story. All Ogoye said was that Stella loved him extremely and that he has to go ahead and ask her out for a relationship. Ugwa didn’t object and willingly he gave a go ahead to what he was supposed to have.

The next two days brought the first moves of envy. Ogoye had gone ahead to ask Stella out and she declined telling him she loves Ugwa not him. This caused a problem between Ugwa, Stella and Ogoye and when the tension was much, they all went their ways. Ugwa was broken over the relationship that it took him two years to recover from the pains of loosing his friends. Two weeks ago he stumbled on a card which reads “Stella weds Ogoye”………………….. He located Stella and immediately she saw him she promised to call off the wedding, if he is still interested in her. If you are Ugwa what would you do? Sincerely Ugwa loves Stella also

THE SECRET PAINS OF A PROSTITUTE PART 4

I waited for the announcement to be over before I picked the call. He was talking to his friend, not knowing I have picked, and from the background I heard, are you sure we won’t rush to the airport right now to meet them? Then I knew how badly I’ve behaved. I wanted to confess to Deborah immediately, so that we can find a solution, but I couldn’t, as I ended the call and switched off my phone. I drew close to Debby and asked her, how much did he give you? Twenty thousand only and he nearly finished all the juice in my body. After all, he said I smell too much…… I told him it’s his mother that smells. I dipped my hand inside my bag and brought out $100 and handed to Debby. I could see the joy in her face. Eh poor girl, I thought.  Can you do me a favour I asked, put off your phone till we reach Abuja please? Hurriedly she did, and in forty minutes our plane was taking off. At this point, I knew I’ve regained my status. Engr Philip was the next victim; his number w...

THE SECRET PAINS OF A PROSTITUTE PART 1

It‘s 3.42 am in the morning and its’ two days after my supposed wedding. Sleep is the last thing on my mind right now. With all these pain and trauma my family is going through: questions without answers, curses being rained, prayers being offered and all sorts, the truth is my family and I are in pains for my acts of old, reflecting in the present. When you read this I might have taken all the poisons close to me and died. I can’t stand this. There is no remedy for me. I have messed up so well that even pastors know I can’t revive the personality that I today destroyed. I don’t know if God can forgive me and I’m sure magazines like hints and hearts would carry my news. I’m really ruined. With this title, it’s obvious I’ve had sex in return for money or favours which is called prostitution, but I’m not like every other prostitute. I feel like talking about this, because right now, I’m regretting what I did sometimes ago. The trend was changing and we followed suit li...

A TRIP TO NOWHERE PART 1

Lost in transit; deceived in person, explicitly managed, punished extremely and loved unconditionally. These were some of the attributes experienced in a relationship, which was a trip to nowhere. It all seemed a just course until the course was lost. The turbulence on the high sea of life became a call to my creator for help. I was deluded in my thoughts, and lost all inner strengths. All I needed to do was to apologize in person, but I was looking for a ghost. This is a true life story about truth and lies, love and deceit, family and friends, life and death. Fasten your seat belt as I take you on a trip. It was a three hour trip from Ibadan to Ado-Ekiti where I school. I haven’t seen my mum for two years now; she had gone for a course in USA. Reading at old age divides your family I guess. The holiday was a family reunion. Mummy, auntie Bose, Damola (my only sister) she schools in Ghana and my daddy of course; he had always been around, were all in our new GRA house...
